Art, science and absinthe - in a new century no topic is off the menu!

Ooh, la la! Paris! Sipping absinthe in a cosmopolitan bar in Montmartre,
in the noughties, that's 1900, we rub shoulders with a famous Spanish artist, a famous German scientist, and a famous American singer, who may or may not be still with us.

It is the beginning of a new century, filled with promise and prophesy, culture and colour, science and sex. The universe is ours for the taking, if we can only grasp it.

The play is set in a small bar the Lapin Agile ("The Frisky Rabbit") - where artists meet to declare their manifestos. In the author’s zany and unpredictable style, it looks at our hopes and aspirations. It takes a satirical look at celebrity and innovation in art and science, technology and politics – no topic is off the menu in this quirky and thought-provoking play.
